Makram Rabah is an Assistant Professor of History at the American University of Beirut (AUB). He is the author of Conflict on Mount Lebanon: The Druze, the Maronites and Collective Memory. He leads the Lebanon in its Second Century project at AUB, a roundtable forum where experts provide future roadmaps for policymakers and stakeholders.
Paul Salem is the Vice President for International Engagement at the Middle East Insitute (MEI). He served previously as MEI’s President and CEO. Salem was the founding director of the Carnegie Middle East Center in Beirut and the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies (LCPS), Lebanon's leading public policy think tank.
Karma Ekmekji is a Mediation Advisor with UN Women and the founder of Diplowomen. She is a Senior Policy Fellow at the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs.
Ziad Abdel Samad is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND) which brings together 35 NGOs and 10 national networks from 12 Arab countries active in monitoring and protecting the social and economic rights. He is a policy instructor at both the Lebanese American University (LAU) and Saint Joseph University (USJ).
Melissa Ajamian works as the Assistant Director for the MEPI-TLU Program at AUB as well as a part-time instructor at the University's Department of Political Studies and Public Administration. Melissa closely advises our student-led editorial work.
Walid Marrouch is a Professor of Economics and the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at LAU. He is a fellow at the Center for Interuniversity Research and Analysis of Organizations in Montreal, and the Economic Research Forum.
Sami Nader is the Director of the Institute of Political Science at USJ. He currently directs the Levant Institute for Strategic Affairs, focusing on the economics and geopolitics of the Levant.
Mohamad Cherry is a Project Coordinator for the MEPI-TLU Program at AUB . He is a Teaching Assistant at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, specializing in the ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
